I can highly recommend Richard (Cole’s Driving School). He was totally professional, reliable, patient and friendly teaching my 17 year old son. Location was flexible - whether that was collection/drop off at home or school, as well as the location of the test itself (we opted for Warwick, where Richard also ensured appropriate practice).

Richard worked really well with our son, he was patient, considerate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and always created a calm, supportive learning environment, which really helped our son build confidence behind the wheel. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for a professional and encouraging instructor. 🚗👍

Amazing and consistent tuition for my 18 year old son and he passed his driving test first time as a result . Richard is a highly experienced teacher who really helps his students understand every aspect of learning to drive, leading to safe and confident drivers. Highly recommend

Would highly recommend! Over the years I’ve had 4 instructors (including Richard) and none of them have been nearly as good. He is very reassuring if you’re a nervous driver; he never makes you feel silly for asking questions or making mistakes. While at the same time he’s diligent. He ensures that the lessons are always safe. Richard has a great knowledge of the local area and can guide you towards what to practice for tests. He would plan out the lessons so that everything examined on the practical test was covered. Best driving instructor in Oxfordshire!

I took manual driving lessons in Banbury with Richard from Cole's Driving School.
He was very professional, patient and friendly. His explanations were clear and helped me build confidence behind the wheel.
I am pretty nervous test taker , so last couple of months we did only mock tests to build confidence, and it worked wonders. I passed my test on first go with 2 minor faults.

I highly recommend Richard Cole to anyone looking for a driving instructor.

5/5 stars and it's completely deserved. I have been a student with Richard since before Coles driving school and the transition from another school to going solo was seemless demonstrating the professionalism and dedication Richard has. He is a fantastic tutor, taking great lengths to support your learning and your progression towards passing your test. Even when there are circumstances that affect your learning outside of lesson times;Richard still makes the effort to organise and maximise your times in lesson and provides a lot of learning support outside of lesson time which makes him the excellent tutor he is and 5/5 stars isn't enough. Thank you for all of your help and support Richard!
